What are Preferences?

Preferences are the configuration of general system settings that allow us to indicate the default behavior.

General Preferences

Manage Stock: Indicates whether the organization will use available stock validations.

Query Stock Inter Organizations: If you activate this option, when checking stocks, you will be able to find out what is in stock in other branches or stores.

Update Price: Indicates if the price of the products will be updated when their cost is modified. This is a general parameter, which will define the default behavior. You can indicate exceptions in each of your products.

Base Currency: At the moment only ARS$ (Argentine peso) is available.

Decimals Quantity: At the moment it is only possible to use 2 decimal places.

Payment process: It allows us to indicate the method of payment processing, after a sale for contacts. Immediate: At the end of the sale, the collection process will be launched to record the customer's payment.

  • Asynchronous: At the end of the sale, you can continue with the task you want, being able to register the payment when the operator wants it from Finance-Customer Current Account, or from Contacts. NOTE: This configuration does not apply to Final Consumer, for this, always it will be IMMEDIATE.
  • Immediate: The process will be carried out when confirming the sale.

Payment Maturity Days: Indicates the number of default days we have from the time a sale is made until the collection is due.

Collection Expiration Days: Indicates the number of default days we have from the time a purchase is made until your payment to the supplier is due.

Budget Expiration Days: Indicates the number of days by default that we have since a budget is made. Once expired, it cannot be accepted.

Default Price List: Allows you to configure the Price List to be used with the Final Consumer and any contact that does not have a Price List assigned.

Time zone: This value indicates under which time zone we are going to operate the system, thus reflecting the real-time in which the tasks were performed.

Fiscal year: This will be used in reports, and annual consultations, among others.

Default price lists: Determines the price list that will be assigned to the Final Consumer, as well as to all those contacts that do not have a different list assigned.

Price Consultation

It allows us to indicate that price lists will be shown on the Operational Management-Price Consultation screen if it shows the stock of the related products if it shows the related products by labels.

Price Lists: Indicates which price lists will be displayed for the searched products.

Show Image: If the product has an image, it will allow it to be displayed.

Show Related Stocks: It allows to show or not the stock of the related products.

Show Related Tag: Allows you to show or not the tags used in the search for related products.

Update price lists when updating Cost: Determines the default behavior of price lists, after updating the cost of a product. In the case of determining products that should not have this behavior, you can check the UPDATE PRICE LISTS mark on the product. When loading a purchase, you can indicate whether or not to update the cost for each item.

Sales

Sales receipt format: Allows you to select the default sales receipt format.

  • Traditional: A4.
  • Ticket: boucher, thermal printer.

Control type: Allows you to select the type of sales control by default. The control is blind (the quantity to be controlled is never shown, if the operator enters an incorrect value it is considered an inconsistency).

  • Full: A complete control of the items and quantities is carried out.
  • 80/20 Value: The control of 20% of items that represent 80% of the total value of the sale is carried out.
  • 80/20 Items: The control of 20% of items that represent 80% in units of items of the total sale is carried out.
  • 80/20 volume: The control of 20% of items that represent 80% of the total sales volume is carried out.

Full Control in the face of Inconsistencies: Allows you to indicate whether a complete control should be carried out in the event of repeated inconsistencies in the control (the indicated value does not match the required value).

Ticket Printing

Header and Footer: It allows you to enter a personalized welcome and thank you message for the visit, where you can also add desired information about your business.

Price Calculation

Rounding Type: It represents how rounding will be applied in the Price Calculation process.

  • 0.01 → to the penny
  • 0.05 → to 5 cents
  • 0.25 → to 25 cents
  • 0.50 → to 50 cents
  • 1.00 → no decimals

Examples:

0.01 → a $2.00 product with 11.35% profit = $2.23

0.05 → a $2.00 product with 11.35% profit = $2.25

0.25 → a $2.00 product with 11.35% profit = $2.25

0.50 → a $2.00 product with 11.35% profit = $2.00

1.00 → a $2.00 product with 11.35% profit = $2.00
